North America 95 Corolla question??

Hi all,

I recently bought a 95 Corolla in Canada. I am planning to buy a suspension kit for this car. I am wondering if the Japan AE101 suspension will fit into this North America (AE102) Corolla?

Add a little more to the question.

If I want to put a 4AGE into my AE102, which suspension should i use Super Strut or MacPherson?

Thank

Regular, you don't have superstrut, if you want superstrut you would have to find a donor car in Japan and get the WHOLE suspension, remember you have drums on the back; superstrut came with disc brakes. I've seen someone selling their Superstrut suspension before for about $1000 US(I think).

You can find suspension for your AE102 anywhere, just get a set of KYB shocks and set of decent springs like B+G, Eibach, Tein, etc.. and find a set of Sway bars to aid suspension. That should be enough for you to put a 4AGE in the car, the 4AGE doesn't have gobs of torque or extra power compared to the 4AFE and 7AFE, so you shouldn't have to worry. I would worry more if you were going with a 4AGZE swap as it does have lots of torque compared to the 4AFE and 7AFE.

Where abouts in Ontario are you??

If you have a 7AFE in your car, you can always build up a 7AGE conversion, 4AGE top end and 7AFE bottom end.

!! Thats sounds really nice. To bad I only have a 4AFE.

Oh by the way, do those JDM coilover suspension for AE101 fit on the AE102?? I know the AE102 uses MacPherson struts. And I am planning to put like TRD SUSKIT suspension into my AE102. I asked some local shops, and they all give me different answers. Some say it will fit, but just need to change few parts. And some says I will not fit...!! I am confused
