brake line replacement...95 corolla

one of the brake lines has a leak, a pretty major leak... anybody have an idea how much this will cost to get fixed? ballpark price for parts & labor?

Thanks a lot.

I don't have an idea, but to get an estimate from someone who does, you should explain what you mean by the brake lines. Do you mean the flexible lines that are in the wheel wells? Or do you mean some other part of the lines? Or do you mean that there is a leak somewhere but its location is unknown?

flex lines aren't a big deal. But as for cost it can depend on where the line is and what it goes around the complexty of the bends. since the shops have to bend the pieces themselves now, and they can't use compression fittings midway to repair a broken lines
at least here in ontario thats how it is

Yeah, and you shouldnt use compression fitting on midway, because if the line is cracked, well you can only guess how strong it is near the crack.

If its a flexline, time for those braided steel hoses

yeah sorry for not being more specific, the line that leaks is like right under the drivers seat... so it would be one of the main lines i guess?
