Well after visiting three Pa. dealers today. We bought a new car. Started out looking for a new Scion, or Corolla. One dealer(Gibbons) was not too interested in us. Another, Motoworld, tried to sell us what they had. Three XB's. We tried to work with them. What B.S. the manager was throwing at us.

What's worse, we knew more than the salesman.

They said our trade was not worth much and offered $7100!!!! Then when we started to walk out, lets see that again. Oh, we missed this. Make it $ $8600. The third dealer in East Stroudsburg(Halterman's) was better. He met us outside the store. We talked about what we were looking for. Told him do not waste our time or yours low balling us with our trade. He said fine, we can cut a deal, lets talk. Right up front, $9600 on the trade. Had to pay list on the car, minus the $500 rebate. And he knocked off $300 from the extended warranty. Wish we went here first!

While we were talking he mentioned they were getting the car ready. I said for what? He replied, "so you can drive home right now with your new car". I told him we didn't have a check and the bank was closed. It was 6pm.. No problem, come back tomorrrow with a check. Personal check was fine, no need for a bank check. Wow! Tom.
