holy shit, I swear we need a swap sticky!!

Yes the 4AGZE will go in your car, however the GZE intercooler will NOT clear the hood so you will either A: have to make a hole in it or B: get a front mounted intercooler (FMIC). Also if you are getting a GZE make sure you get the AE92 or AE101 GZE as they come with the E53 FWD transmission, and you will also need the axles.

Talk to "4Aaron GE" on the board, he has done the GZE conversion on his AE102 Corolla sedan but he used the C52 transmission instead of the E53 that comes with the GZE, I believe he used the 4AGZE from an AW11 MR2 SC.

thanks i understand that the intercooler wont clear the hood and that it that the engine itself will fit but i was really wondering about the wiring weather its going to be a nightmare or not.
im getting a whole front clipfrom an ae101 levin. im taking the whole front end off and taking it to my friend so he can fabb on the fenders, hood healight mounts and put the bumper on so its an ae101 levin/prizm

the wiring shouldn't be much of a problem since you have the whole front clip. if ever, the only problem would be how to get the tech to work. you'd need a tach adaptor for this.

Been there, done that. If you've got the entire front clip, you'll be fine.

If the tach problem is anything like the problem of using the DLI system with the AE86 dash, you've got to crack open the cluster and replace a few components. For the swap that me and my brother did, we didn't encounter that particular problem, since our cluster didn't have a tach. Alternatively, try and fit the AE101 cluster in your car.

Or you can do that. We're running an aftermarket tach in ours.
