Just curious, my dad traded the half crappily bodyworked corolla into GM and it's going on wednesday. Now the thing is..if anybody wants to come swap the OEM suspension out of their ae92 SR5 (sprigns and struts) for the KYB struts and B+G springs from my old ae92 they can. But would anyone be itneresteD?
The onyl catch is youd have to come here, unisntall your suspension first, then unisntall mine, isntall yours onto mine and then isntall mine onto yours. That's why it'd be a free trade. The ae92 I have has to be drivable..so yeah. Anyone?
edit: i guess i forgot to say, you supply the tools and know how, and any parts you break. :P I just figured I'd be nice and try and help a borther out, so to speak. and the stuff is off my SR5

how am I going to hit this? lol I have no way to do that. It's a pain to swap out that shit hahaha
unless I could get the car to the shop which I can't since it's all the way in angus :p
edit: Don't get me wrong though I would love to do it. I am hoping the dealer is like wtf we don't want this car. like they did to a guy at the shop who traded an old civic in. it wasn't in thta bad of shape. BUt they told the tow truck driver he can have it if he wants :p.
If they tell you guys that I will come and get the car
<---- needs rims, suspension (not for preformance but because mine is starting to get soft), locks, doors, motor, couple interior pieces, hood so I can repair mine, maker lights if they were in better condition than mine, and so on since his is an sr5 and everything would be the same unless it;s 90+ but in which case everything would still be close
well not so much a motor, I think my valves are letting oil in to the engine. nice big puff of smoke when I first start it (n)
you could have your damn fenders lol
I figure the moment they see that bumper they are going to say wtf have we done... LOL
besides why do you get dibs on my idea. I pointed it out first and said I would take it if it happened before you did Lol
Right now GM is doing a promotion (or this dealer) where you bring in your trade and if it's 95 or odler they'll give you 1000 dollars tog et it off the road to clena up the environment..yepp..that means the ae92 is going to the yard..thats why i thoguht id offer the suspension.

and it has nothing to do with cleaning up the enviroment. The longer you drive your old car the longer you won't buy a new one. Maybe if they made good new cars they wouldn't have the issue of people driving old cars
nah can't make money off me since I have none, thats why I was like wooo maybe gm will say keep the car ROFL
and it's hard to make 1000 on parts when you have an sr5.
I just wish I could do the suspension thing as a temp patch for my suspension issue. Until I can save up enough for a fully adjustable one
And it's not a waste..the new car is whats going to give my dad a car to drive while he lives in Winnipeg and what'll keep all the money in our bank accounts.

1000 for that car is a waste. if it's a new car means you'll be making payment. for what it will affect the monthy payments isn't worth scraping a decent car
I bet you could have sold the car for 2 - 3 if you had wanted. Seems like the sr5's go for that much.
and ren. I hope the gm car breaks down. because gm sucks lol
And I hope your ae92 blows up. Thanks for the support.
My family has 4 cars in the driveway already other then the ae92..it hasn't been driven in months. We've outgrown it. I've realized there's better performaing vehicles...it's a nice car, but We don't need or want it.
