KYB if you want something affordable and decent, if you want more upscale go with Tokico or Koni.

AE92

yeah, i have a 92 and my struts are toast, i need new ones, but i want ones that a little firmer than stock, nothing nuts because i'm trying to keep my costs low, and i dont have any suspension work done. and are they hard to put on by a do it yourself guy who has never done it before?
thanks

If your looking for something that's firm but forgiving I'd definately go with tokico. I don't know how they compare price-wise but even if they're a little more expensive than others just save a little more and gett'm, they're well worth the money. I put them on after I mounted 17" rims and they did just the trick without the lowering affect... in other words, perfect. It took me almost 8hrs just to change them and bleed the brakes cuz I didn't have the proper tools at hand when I started but hey... good luck!

...cool little fact: Tokico's OEM factory is less than 10 minutes from where I work.

the parts place we deal with only gave us kyb because they were out of munroe struts, suposidly the munroe parts are pretty good.
even back in the late 80's when my dad redid the suspension on the firebird he used all munroe and oem parts
