what brand makes toyota motor oil?

I need to know if its a good brand to know if ill keep using toyota motor oil..

Probably Castrol.. I've always used Castrol to begin with.

i'm guess ESSO or Castrol... they used ESSO in F1 and in the GT-one car in Leman and Castrol in rally racing...

Dunno what "brand" it is, but I'm sure it's way more than adequate if Toyota is willing to slap their name on it . To tell the truth, I didn't know there was "Toyota motor oil".....shows what I know

there are only a small handfull of companies that still make oil. most just buy it and slap their names on it. Filters are the same way

Well toyota filters are alot different than most of them.

Oils, well... there are actually few companies.. Toyota oil is just well Toyota-priced, not worth it imho.

I have had my oil changed at three dealerships in my area and all use quaker state semi-synthetic, dunno if that is what you are looking for.

i think its something to do with exxon-mobil, probably esso oil? Toyota here in Toronto sells a red bottle esso motor oil, probably its similar.

in canada its esso. they went to court or something like that to get the rights where toyota canada would only use and sell esso oil. not sure if it was exactly like that but something along those lines
