Side moldings?

If thats what their called,(those strips of plastic glued on the side of your car incase some ediot bumps his door against your ride).

One of the used doors that I bought had a crack in the molding and it just came of (with a little help). also my to new fenders (after market) obviously did not have those pieces on them.

Should I take them all off or replace them?

opinions anyone?

It will be painted.

well u could take them off but there will be mounting holes to fill up (Bondo to the rescue)

and u will have to repaint that area...

what you could do is just buy the replacement side moldings or haul em off a ae86 in a junk yard

but remember...

there are JDM side moldings and USDM side moldings... upon closer inspection of the 2 types u will notice a big difference

cheers

Dude, there are NO mounting holes in the 87s doors or fenders for that particlular trim bit. I've removed mine, since I had the exact same problem.

I'd definitely get the repaint though. The paint underneath will be a different colour than the rest.
