Check Engine Light ON, help, please!

Does anyone know how to obtain error code for Corolla 2004, when Check Engine Indicator is ON?
Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

The only way to read the code is with a device that connects to your OBDII connector. You can go to the dealership for this, a nearby AutoZone (or whatever the major parts chain store is in Canada), or from a car-nut friend that has his/her own scan tool. Best of luck!

Yep....Autozone. Or other auto parts retailors. It'll probly cost you between 100 and 300 bucks, depending on how fancy you want it to be.

I own the Alex Peper Scan tool: http://www.obd-2.com/

Knock on wood, I haven't had to use it yet, but I have popped it on to look at cool charts for RPM, ECT, MPH, etc.
