installing stock head unit

is installing a car stereo an easy task? i don't want to use cd's anymore since i got a creative zen vision m, so i wanna install my stock cassette player and use an adapter until i get a CD player with an AUX-in plug (if that ever happens) with my mp3 player, i don't feel that i need cds.

anyway, any big difficulties in doing this that i should perhaps know of before going in blind?

Put in an aftermarket with aux, check it out on crutchfield.com and make sure it'll fit your car. I have the Alpine 9845; it makes my stock speakers sound great. That ipod control through your stereo is garbage.
