Unhappy 2001 Corolla Valves Rattle when automatic transmission shifts into 2nd gear

I bought SeaFoam they say to slowly pour it through throttle body or direct manifold vaccum line that will feed ALL CYLINDERS.
Question: Where exactly is the direct manifold vaccum line located and will this really help?

Are you sure it's not a heat shield rattlin' under your car ? Have had this problem on a few cars, sounds awful and is an easy fix. Just tighten it up - check it out.

forget seafoam.

Hydraulic valves dont rattle unless something is wrong and I dont think a 2001 corolla is old enough to have that problem.

someone who probably knows less than me say so. Oh well.

I heard that from someone that said I was using bad gas. I guess it's not the valves.
What could make a rattling noise when shifting into second?

I guess I should have said something rattles when changing gears. It's almost like a pinging sound, like when you go up a hill on low octane maybe?
