Red face 93 rolla - tail lights won't turn off

hi all,

just got my car on the road again and the brake lights stay lit with key out now.

looking under the dash at the switch at top of the pedal it seems to be engaging as it should. any ideas? for the moment i disco'd batt ground...

which fuse is for the lights? it would be easier to pull that than fussing with the battery everytime I park - the cover to the kickpanel box is missing and my Haynes is pretty useless.

mahalo

Exclamation

my brake switch broke and did that a couple years back. The cheap replacement from Autozone is a cheap piece of crap, but it works. if you have moneyt burn, maybe OEM would be better. It just did not line up as nice and was slightly different. Also crawling up under the dash realy trul sucks donkeys

Other bulbs will run on that circut, I would just disconnect the battery when ever you park the car.

Or failing that remove the offending bulbs.
