Question Replacing the radio on a 1996 DX Wagon

I'm looking to replace the stock radio on my 1996 Corolla DX Wagon with a CD player. Has anyone replaced their radio on this generation corolla and would be willing to share instructions on how to remove the stock radio? It looks like it may be a bit more complex than me replacing the radio in my 1990 Celica.

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, you first remove two screws form the panel that houses the radio and heater controls. They are below the radio but above the ashtray. Then pull off the heater knobs and pull the panel out (pry carefully if you need to). Unclip the wiring from the hazard lights switch and the clock and set the panel aside. The radio is held in with four screws, then unclip the wiring harness(es) and the antenna wire. That should do it.

you may need to remove the plastic on each side of the centre console so you can see what your doing with the wiring as well ..
