Performance intake... ( bad idea ?)

HELLOOO EVVRRYBOOODYY!!,

While ive been out reuniting with my GTS, ive noticed something, while im on the highway, my temp gauge is sitting at cold ( 120 - 160 ) , but recently ive installed an aftermarket intake, and ive noticed that the temp gauge is always at half.

I have a feeling that the box gives colder air to the IM then this aftermarket shit, in my supra i had a sheet of metal over the intake...this would Obviously make a difference.. wouldnt it?

i just had to ask the question because the supra was turbo so i was guessing it might be a little different, i just dont want to switch it all back if there is no reason to

Trident.......thermostates come in different heat ranges but thats about the only difference
get a good qaulity one and you'll be right!
most parts shops will have a listing for what temp you need...make sure you get a new gasket with it!
