Is This a Good Deal on a 2006 LE?

A friend just got a 2006 Corolla LE w automatic, 6-CD changer and floormats for $16,200 TOTAL (includes tax, fees, everything).

Is this a good deal? I may get one.

The sticker price was $17,161.

sounds good to me. My LE has 6 cd changer, cruise control, floor mats, power package, 4 speed auto. around 14500 after trade in (2500- 2001 neon 5 spd) and 2K down. was around the same price as your friends. But yes thats not bad since he had no trade in. Looks like he put a down payment on it?? You should get one, excellent car.

He could have gotten even a better deal (with some more negotiations). A friend of mine got a black 2006 Corolla XRS with $1300 off, iPod interface, free life time oil changes, hood deflector and reduced interest rate on financing. Ofcourse, they were hell bent on selling it for MSRP because they had only two left on the lot, but it took a lot of negotiation on his behalf to bring the dealership down (Ahem! by your's truly )
