Question removing radiator 95 Prizm

I'm removing a cracked radiator out of a 95 Prizm. I managed to get everything loose, but realized transmission lines run in and out of the radiator. What is the best way to deal with these? If I disconnect the lines will radiator fluid drain everywhere? How can I avoid this? Thanks

Place a pan (of proper size) under the connectors and let the oil drain. Pull the radiator. I recently replaced my radiator, only costed me about $90.00 total (including shipping ) on eBay.com But I have a standard trans and did not deal with auto trans fluid. In the past, I did have many large cars that had tranny lines to the Radiator, same thing, just let it drain. The, after it's all back together, check th e tranny and refill it. You might want new fluid to avoid contamination, especially for tranny fluid which must be clean.
