'04 Corolla Serpentine Belt Squeal

Virgin to TN here Don't throw toilet paper at me...it brings back memories of Rocky Horror!

Anyhow, got a nasty pig squeal going on in the morning on my '04 Corolla LE 4spd Auto. Does anyone have an idiots guide to changing the serp belt or properly adjusting it? Got 45k on it, but it's been doing it for probably 10k. Not sure what the dealer wants to replace it, but they've already milked me for a $179 trans fluid flush. Any help would be appreciated..thx.

I had the dealer do mine at 40k. It was about $100.

There's another thread started here about replacing the tensioner, if that is what is going bad on your car.

Why dont you just replace it yourself? It's not that hard.

Go to *************.com and search around over there. Plenty of people have had the same issue and replaced it themselves with little trouble.

Edit: Okay, I'm not sure why that is censored. PM me.
