so I am looking at getting an adjustable suspension. I can't just lower my car since of where I live. The winter would be hell. and I don't feel like having another suspension sitting in the garage to be swapped out every winter and summer thats alot of work.
You want adjustable suspension for your SR5.. good luck with that! last one I saw was like $1500 and that was from D2 (which I heard suxors). On top of that you want to drive it in the winter??
You can always try and get some Ground Control coilovers.. which are almost $1000
And flashmn last year they didn't plow the roads in my town for some odd reason so we ended up with a mound in the middle of our tire tracks... Which in turn would bottom out on my floor, if it was lower some of them would have damaged my front bumper
and ren finding one for the ae92... well all I know is it seems when they list them they fit alot more than just one car
and you also know the fact I refuse to have a just a summer car... plus I only have one at the moment so w/e I do to it has to be for all seasons. A guy at the meet told me I just have to clean the salt off once and awhile...
Get an airbag suspension. Some vehicles have them factory. Some are available
after market. All HD trucks seem to have them now. Keep an eye on the ads in
the ricer mags.
ground controls are prolly your best bet ! that and or some blizzacks lol my buddies integra would plow snow by my buddies AWD Talon TSI and he was dropped big time

blizzacks are tires I take it? I have some michelin x ice tires. Yea looking at the ground controls them seem like a good bet. But now what about struts?
And flashmn last year they didn't plow the roads in my town for some odd reason so we ended up with a mound in the middle of our tire tracks..
and the point being? They dont plow our road either, its not part of the citys plowing area, plus the bigger road that leads to my place has VERY poor winter conditioning.
Well depends what your looken for i guess, i dunno if the Sr5 has sealed struts or if it has cartriges* in the front.... if you got the money buy the koni yellows, probly the best strut for the money.. if not you can do what i did and get KYB agx's in the front & KYB gr-2's in rear (with this setup my ass end is alot softer than the fronts the agx's are alot stiffer) or just get kyb gr-2's all around... another thing to keep in mind is that these are OEM replacement struts/cartriges. meaning they aint ment to be lowered on (believe the manual says they can be lowered on about 1.5 inches any more than that and they wont do a very good job & will wear out alot faster...
and yes Blizzacks are a very good snow tire here in the states

I have bilstein sports on mine. ... I asked what professional grade custom coilovers would go for on the AE92, I was quoted 6000USD for them, lol. But they're really the ultimate shocks.
lol with that kinda money i would buy a winter beater & not worry about loweirng my car in snow..
