Keyless Entry on a 2001 Rolla

OK, so I have this 2001 Rolla LE that doesn't have keyless. I'm trying to install this on my own, but I need to find diagrams of where my wires run. Does anyone have any idea how to do keyless, how hard it is, any tips.
Thanks.

So does any one have any experience with these after market kits?

As for the stock system... the Door lock wires run through the door panel to the front
into I 11 Integration Relay & I 12 Integration Relay on Instrument Panel J/B Inner Circuit.

I wonder if the wiring harness & relay exist for vehicles without power locks. If so then you would only need to plug in the power lock motors...

I suggest you get access to techinfo for a day and download the diagrams... Well worth the $10

In theory, it doesn't seem that hard to do. However, I really don't know where to find wires, like the ones that unlock/lock the doors (centrally), domelight, parking lights, etc. I know how to do easier stuff that people seem to pay for, like my stereo. There is no way I was going to pay someone to pull out my old stereo, butt connect with a wiring harness and put it back in. Keyless seems like an easy enough project, but I have never done it, so it kind of scares me.

the first thing I would do is get the install manual for what you are trying to install read and re-read it, and make sure that you know where and what everything does, then it would be easiter, big time

I have an 01 corolla CE and i got mine done at Future Shop for $50. I looked at what they did afterwards and notices that they spliced a solid brown wire and a solid green wire (located on the drivers side kick panel). One is for lock and the other is for unlock, i cant remember which colour is for what. It is activated when it becomes grounded. I tested it using a test light. it won't light up but it will ground the wire and perform its action (lock/unlock). I am not sure if these are the stock wire colours or the ones for my keysless entry system because I looked online and found what they are a different colour. This is the wiring info needed for installing a security system. The power door stuff is in bold. Hope this helps.

Daniel, no it's not online. The kit is a Prestige (Audiovox). Rambo, that is a very impressive break down of all the wires. This is still all very overwhelming. I wish there was just a wiring harness and plug the kit in and done with it. Arghhhhhh, as the pirates would say.
