Best All Season Tires?

My wife has a 2001 Toyota Corolla CE in need of new tires. I've found the stock tires quite awful and look forward to replacing them with something better.

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for some good all season tires for the Corolla? I'm willing to sacrifice some of the wear rating for better traction.

BTW, I live in Atlanta, Georgia USA. We have really hot summers. Winter is typically in the 40's (deg. Fahrenheit) with several days dipping into freezing conditions. We occasionally have heavy rain.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff

Let me guess...you got Goodyears as OEM

Try Michelin X-One radials. Pricey, but worth the money

all seasons advice

I've always had ALL-SEASONS on my daily driven '95 Integra.
195/60/14's.

the best all-around IMO are the Michelin X-Ones or the "Rainforce MX4 XGT's"

I've tried Kumho's and have Bridgestone Potenza (All Seasons) on all 4s right now. U can get these and the michelins from Costco. lol.

the potenza's are better on dry surfaces, and at 120k+ speeds, more comfortable. BUT IMO, it SUCKS in the rain/snow.
I learned that the hard way

i've had good luck with dunlop sp sport and my mother's car has pirelli p400's i think. the pirelli's are better in the snow. we had x-one's on the car before, and they lasted really long and the grip is just a tad less than the pirelli's.
