um..... the mr2 will not bolt to it...... to use a stronger E series transmission you would need an s/c mr2 (or ae92/101 sc) transmission and then use the flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch for the s/c setup

Thanks for replying guys,
well the engine performance is quite good, but the only prob is my gear box.
I wanna have some good power from 1st or 2nd gear. but actually i obtained it on 3rd gear, thats quite annoying.
any idea how i can get power?
Actually, it is.
It doesn't effect engine power at the crank, but it does effect engine power at the wheels.
Ever ride different bikes, like a mountain bike and then a 10 spd?
Notice how different it is?
And for the record, all 3SGTE trans aren't awd.
What do you think came in the MR2T?
Actually, it is.
It doesn't effect engine power at the crank, but it does effect engine power at the wheels.
Yes and no, hardest acceleration would be in first. But I think you'll find that the gear has little to no effect on power at the wheels. The only change could be in the power loss in the gearbox, 4th would be best as its the closest to 1:1 ratio.
If you gear something down you don't have more power you have more tourque, and the reverse if you gear it up, power is a constant for a given engine rpm.

SW20 tranny's are already FWD, just mounted in the rear. Motor and gearbox are already transverse, they are just behind you. What about a 6 Speed from the black top? Hard to find but might be more what you're looking for. I don't really understand the problem I guess. Just wind it out to 8000 rpm lol.
