what size is 4afe muffler inlet?

i did a search but didnt come up with anything is out inlet 2.25 2 or 2.5 ? i really need a muffler bad so im just going to pick up a cheap one until i can get a cat back or get a custom one done! ohh by the way my car is a 1991 toyota corolla 4afe engined beast thanks for all the help!

okay what size should i use there is 2.5 and i might be able to find 2.25 or 2 but i want to keep the stock pipe and only change the muffler

I'f a shops isntalling it for you they'll make it fit. I believe there is pieces of pipe you can get..or the shops amke that go from one size to another, like an adapter..or they could also jsut fill in the extra space with a weld I guess.

im acually planing on doing it myself what size do you recommend? most sizes on ebay are 2.5 but i guess ill see if i can find a 2.0 one!

depends on if the exhaust has been replaced with stock size pipe. On cars this old it's good to get down there and check

i believe it's around 1 5/8".... most parts stores should have adapters

2.5" is too large for n/a applications

yea the guy I got my seats from complained that the 2.5" exhaust upgrade made the car feel weaker.... He also had headers.

i decided to go with a 2 inch raptor turbo muffler from flowtech aka Hooker mufflers! ill post a sound clip when i recive it and install it thanks for all the help!
