My first "problem"
I have had my corolla for about 2 or 3 months now, and the first problem started showing up at about 104K miles... Last night on my way home I had my window down, no music on, and I heard a slapping noise coming from the driver side from wheel every time I would hit harder bumps, I also noised a rattling/clunking noise when I turn the wheel and slowly accelerate, but thats only when I turn... I also get a humming noise at about 35 miles an hour from the driver front... Im thinking that has to do with a wheel bearing... But usualy all of these noises dont mean a wheel bearing... What Im thinking is I have two problems, I need a wheel bearing, and either a lower ball joint or a new Drive shaft... But upon visual inspection I cant see anything wrong, the ball joint bushing is perfectly fine, there are no fluids leaking from the Driveshaft boot, nor are they ripped or torn at all.. IM really quite confused by this, can anybody shed some light on the topic?
