My baby just got towed...

Well i just saw the saddest thing. Chrissie, my AE101, on the back of a flatbed tow truck... I almost cried, until i realized that she is going to a better place to be fixed

Finally i'll get my manual back and i might sort out the problems once and for all. The reasn i had to get her towed was because of four things:

1. It wont start (Solenoid isn't engaging)
2. I cant get the exaust that needs replacing out of the car (I mean, really, who makes a pipe with a 3" flange and only a 2" gap to get it out of?!?) and i dont have an engine hoist to jack the engine up.
3. It's still running rich (For those of you who don't know the saga behind this, the sensors are telling the engine it is running lean, so its pumping more fuel in and causing it to run EXTREMELY rich) and i have replaced the AFM, Knock, O2 and Temprature sensors.
4. One of the unseen hoses burst. For those who have a 20v - be warned of the coolant and PS hoses behind the block on the GB side - They rot very quickly and without noticing, because they are in a pain of a spot...

Oh well. I dont have the time to do it myself anymore, so i guess its for the better... Will keep you all posted on how its going...

It is Manual, Done the 20v ST swap, Superstrut suspension, 2.25" Piping and straight-thru Mercury muffler. Moved the antenna to a position on the front quater-panel and added an automatic antenna and it used to have a KDC-MP4029, until i swapped that into the Nissan.

As soon as i get it back from the shop i am going to put the Levin Front end on, respray and start my project i have dubbed 'TZ-20'. Have scrapped the AWD conversion tho, as i dont have the tranny well to do it...

sounds good to me. Ill be getting a car to play with eventually. Actually id like to get an older corolla manual to play with.. I like auto but id rather have manual. After having 2 manuals I wanted a change. I love my corolla auto- drives just like a manual. They did a wonderful job on it. But next time ill be getting a manual again while keeping my auto corolla.. plus the other eason why I got auto is incase my mom needs to drive my car (she hates driving maanual)
