wheel offset Q

just a quick question, the higher the wheel offset, the more the wheel will go inside the fender wheel, correct? lets say +45 and +35, the +45 will be more inside the fenders and the +35 will tend to stick out the fender wheel outside?? correct?

yes. This number is the percentage the bolt holes are from the centre of the rim. A Positive offset is toward the outside of the rim, a negative is toward the inside of the rim (Deep Dish rims) and a 0 offset is perfectly centre. Therefore, a +45 offset will be 45% forward from the centre of the rim.

A +45 offset is 45mm not 45%.

Say you have a 15x6 rim. The centerpoint of the rim is the 3in mark. Conver that to mm and you have a 152.4mm wide rim with the center at 76.2mm. So a +45mm offset will put the mounting point of the rims at about 31.2mm (1.22 inches) from the outside lip. A +35mm offset would be 41.2 mm (1.62 inches).
