Hi, I just joined the forum and I did the search but couldnt locate an answer to my question. Wifey owens a 2001 Toyota Carolla and I was wondering were the spark plugs are? I dont see any wires or distributor cap so I think they dont have any. I know some cars they make now dont have any. so does that mean The Carolla is plugless?

the wire is uner the black cover....
i don't think there's any car has no spark plug...correct me if i'm wrong...ha

thanks, I didnt want to do anything I didnt know about. But to be sure, It does have a timing chain right? If so what tipe of service does it need?

Yes, the 01 corolla has spark plugs.. but no wires.. I asked the same question to the techies when I baught the car. I was like.. where's the wires?

Her car is still doing fine, I just wanted to know just incase a problem accured. I do my own work, ya cant trust many mech's these days
