EJ86,thx for the site but it doesnt work . and yes my sr5 is a ae86, it was made i think maybe a month before they stop making RWD rollas,so i got the alomst the very last of rwd rollas. well i'm planning to carbon it out but i need web sites to go to,i only found 1 site the sales carbon doors. so anybody plz throw in your 2 cents
Without a vacuumbag and autoclave system its gonna be hard. Especially the fenders. Straight panels isnt that hard, but the fenders have 90deg corners, which is gonna be fun when you try to get the mold off in one piece.
yeah i chould mod my oem fenders but i know it would be hard to do, if i mod fenders it will be only for to to put 13x8 wheels. but dont wanna drift off topic, all i really want is a trueno front bumper, the lip to that bumper, and maybe is i can source the rear bumper also. i was thinking of calling this shop in Aus that makes custom parts but WAYYYY to much money, so i reley on u guys to help me find parts for my baby. but carbon panels and etc is what i really want to get done.
Well a hood is easy to make, because its just a flat pancake, fenders are not. Its funny how you (freakingbox) always try to contradict what I say... Well, the thing is, I've managed to do most of the things most posters here are only dreaming or thinking of doing.
Heres my FRP fender project, ditched due to the fact that you WONT get the 90deg angles done without a vacuum packing, so that you can still managed to remove the fender from the mold plug. How I know, because I've already tried it.
I wasn't contradicting anything you just mistook how I said it, was just saying why I suggested it. Funny how you (flashmn) seem to think I try to be hostile towards you <shrugs>
If you carefully read what I said since I used Thought (past tense) rather than think (present tence)....
a thanks knightx, its a awesome site, now i think i can get everything i need for my car. thank u all for help cause on other forums i get no help at all, so thank u.
