98 Corolla Needs New Tires

My 98 Corolla VE needs new tires and I was set to get Firestone FR380's in the a.m., but after searching online, Firestone's safety and reliability aren't exactly top-of-the-line. I would appreciate any experiences/advice as to safe and reliable tires - 175/65R14 81S - for my ride. Appreciate it.

That's what I'm thinking . . . after reading way too many articles tonight! LOL!

Local place had Goodrich on sale, but BF's website says don't have any that fit OE for my year and model but linked to Michelin's that do. Might just go that route, if anything, for the peace of mind.
