I switched from Tien S-tech to TRD springs today.
Before, with the Tien S-techs
After, with the TRD springs
I liked both sets of springs. The tiens looked great, there was hardly any fender gap, and you could really feel the drop, you felt like you were right on the road. There was absolutely NO body roll whatsoever, only because by the time the car started to roll you were already understeering. I really liked it. The understeer was very predictable you can always feel it well before it actually happens.
The TRD springs feel completely different. When I make lane changes the body rolls a bit, something I forgot about while I had my Teins. However I can take turns much faster without understeering. The look is not as good, I think. I don't like the amount of fender gap especially in the back, but maybe it will settle down.
I switched the springs mainly because I might be moving someplace snowier, and also because I wanted a little bit more bump travel.
What do you guys think?
