AE92 What Engine??

Hey guys i just had a race with this new corolla hatch back i think year 2000 above. The roundi ones with the big head lights. I think they came out wid the 7A-FE engines. Not sure?? he actually kept up with me till 160km/hr before the lights which we had to stop in. Ive got a hatchback AE-92 with red top small port 4age.Factory as. Ive left behind starlet turbos and integras soo i was pretty amazed. Anyone know what engine the new corollas have?? Any info??

Firstly, Street Racing is bad, and you shouldn't really be discussing your street racing habits in here. It is part of the rules.

But other than that i can tell you that they had a 1ZZ-FE motor, not the 7A-FE.

Off-topic.. I find any 4cyl motor will keep up with the AE92s until you start hitting the 140km/h mark.. after that they start seeing your tail lights.

On-topic.. Street racing is bad.

I don't know even the 4af seems pretty decent for the top speed. with the 4age's extra power I would think he's right. That ren or they don't want to go any faster because it's a nasty fine at that point

I had a dude in an EG Si think his car was faster than mine.. once his car hit 160km/h he started seeing more of my back end.. by the time we hit 180km/h he was way back behind me.

well the thing with my car is the lack of a limiter at 180 that allows me to go faster than them. But Ren I think a civic si could rape our cars if the person wasn't afraid to do 180+.
like a regular civic wouldn't hold anything against our cars. I have drivin one and getting on the hwy showed how weak the car was. Was the mid - late 90's style. Hated driving it.
