a few people know i want to do all JDM/carbon fiber for my SR5 coupe. i want to are there any JDm parts for the SR5 coupe in Japan? i think the zenki bumper might fit but i want to make sure, dont wanna spend like 500 bux on a peice that wont fit. so if anyone came throw in there 2 cents plus any other info for me, thank u for your help.
kouki are the ones for the 87 actually. Most jdm body stuff tend to cost alot, ever since the zenki stuff was said to have been discontinued the prices sky rocketed
so there no way to get any bumpers? thats kinda gay, at this moment all i have is a digi guage cluster which is going in this weekend. ok how about this idea, a levin front end conversion on my SR5 coupe? think that might work?

if you authentic OEM toyota japan parts... expect to spend more than $500 for a decent bumper. there are tons of companies in the US where you can get jdm copy bumpers and they're pretty decent. your full carbon fibre front panels will cost more than your car so why do it?

all I was saying is that for his year kouki would be the correct style. DOesn't matter. And levin ones... have fun replacing the lights if something happens to them.
micro people put tonns of money into their cars to get what they want. It's not how much it cost but what you get in the end. Most of the modded 86's I have seen have more in the paint, suspension, rims and so on then the car was worth brand new!

word up! if u want oem jdm, u gotta pay to play. you would have better luck finding a US based company's jdm copy. i dont know what your plans and goals are for the car, but imo a gts conversion would be the first thing i would do to an sr5.
4AC = AE71: If you want jdm bumpers for your car, keep an eye out on ebay or places like club4ag.com for people selling bumpers. I wouldn't recommend doing the levin front end unless you feel like playing around with a custom bumper bracket.

myabe u guys are right... well i spent 900 on this SR5 and believe me when i tell u,theres NO RUST on the thing, thats a plus in its self. with the gts conversion not to sure, planning sometime next year to throw in a SR20DETT S15 motor in, so hp glore. and right now, well i want all carbon parts with a JDM bumpers. i'm even going as far as to try to get carbon like covers for rewind wheels . so in a short story, i want this to be the badest corolla in the northeast hands down and i'm willing to spend to win. so if anybody knows where i can get fake JDM bumpers i'm willing to listen but rather have JDM JDM bumpers.

i know that! because the AE86 is the "civic" for rice boys!
the reason i said it is to put some sense to him but hey there will always be people like you who pretty much know everything about AE86 but never actually owned one!!

best bet for oem jdm bumpers is to look for used ones. u wont have fitment problems with oem parts. at the same time, the aftermarket jdm bumpers are easier to obtain. oem jdm or aftermarket, just make sure u use the correct mounting brackets and u should be fine.

now why do you always have to go and bash me? Like when did I ever say I know everything. I know a few things and will learn more if I do get one. But if you don't mind I'd appreciate it if you stopped insulting me. There's no need for it. Thanks!
I wouldn't exactly consider it a civic. Like both are good cars. But the ae86 costs alot more in the first place lol. To me I still consider "rice" someone who goes for all looks and no performance, or just an exhaust on their car. Even if they know how to drive I don't mind it. But most of the civic guys around here are barely able to do the damn speed limit, seems 10 under is their style with the seat reclined almost back playing some rap so loud it vibrates the trunk lid lol.
if he's going to put the sr20dett in the car it can't really help a whole lot to have a gts to start. Since a gts is going to cost alot more than 900. Could always find a junker non running gts for the suspension.
