Stock... Audio... ARGHHHG!

Well, I miss my subwoofers I kept the ones from my contour, but as stupid as I am I decided to sell the car with the JVC KD-SH99 HU in it... Im an idiot.

The toyota headunit is junk, im sorry but toyota effed up in the audio department of this car, its just horrible, I got the "prenium" (4 Speaker) audio, and my factory 96 contour's speakers sounded way better. Anyways, now that I have this stock Toyota HU im going nuts... Is there any way I can get my subwoofers running on it? just until christmas because my mom is getting me a kick ass one for christmas, id rather have a kick ass head unit for free, they buy a cheap crappy one...

The amp is a Rockford Fosgate 360a2
The sups are two 10 inch Earthquakes.

Yeah, get a line level adaptor from an audio shop since the OEM deck doesn't have audio outputs for RCAs.

Don't look at Radio Shack, go to an actual Car Audio shop and get it. It looks like this (I actually have the same one somewhere, but I don't use it in my car)

If you shop online, crutchfield might have it.

I have another question about it... I ordered the part, I found one for $12 shipped, its a Legacy N60... But Im having a hard time with one wire, and thats the Remote wire, the one that sends a signal to turn on the amp once you turn the car on... Which wire do I splice into behind the Head unit?

OK, so I went to audiocontrol.com and found out that anything with a line driver is about $90... im sorry, but that defeats the purpose of this project, I wanted to do it cheaply because this is temperary for about... 5 months. Plus im reading about line drivers, and I dont see how they can be used to turn the amp on and off whenever I turn my car on and off...

try either the blue wire for the power antenna, or a blue and white wire... by this I mean the ones coming OUT of the head unit.
