Left Turn Signal

I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla LE. The left turn signal sometimes flashes very quickly and the light doesn't come on. Its not always the case but sometimes it is and its only the left turn signal. We took it to the dealer and he thinks its the switch thats gone. Any thoughts on where i can buy the parts?

How much can i expect to pay to get this fixed? Could the dealer be wrong about the switch? Can it be a bad ground or corosion on the socket instead of the switch? I hate cars, they're just a moneypit!

Did the dealer check the front and rear bulb sockets? The fast flash will occur when you have a burned out bulb or (in your case) an intermittent short, etc. Pull the bulbs and make sure the sockets and the bulb ends are clean. And yes, it could be a broken wire inside the insulation that only makes intermittent contact. Good luck finding that. I'm not a dealer lover, so I'll say that the last thing to check for would be a faulty switch. But, it could be a connection on the switch.

Could be a bulb or a fuse.

Can you tell me how i can get to the lamps? If i had to buy the parts, can you tell me where i can get it in canada or even the US?

More than liely the fillament in the front or rear bulbs is loose and sometimes looses contact, its more than likely your bulbs....
