what do you mean by mod, you want to add some appearance items, or performance items..... if performance I personally think that for that engine a 5spd would have been a better choice..... but that is just my two cents

what are you trying to accomplish, you want to make it a race car, or just beef it up a tad.... first thing I would do is replace the restricting muffler with a better aftermarket one, then maybe headers, I would stay away from CAI bc it has shown to damage the MAF, I am gonna stick to stock air filter on mine

You can get a Supercharger kit for the auto Corollas from TRD, if I had to get an automatic as a family car, believe me the first mod would be the TRD SC.. its not cheap though.

After spending thousands of dollars trying to sqeeze a few hp out of a car meant for fuel economy, you could have invested in a faster car to begin with. I'd recommend modifying the suspension, since corollas can be significantly improved in that area.

I say if you have a newer car (like you do), keep it clean (meaning not a bunch of useless junk under the hood), make significant power increase, keep your investment minimal ... spray it! Meaning NOS. With the NOS not active, you still have an everyday driveable car, good fuel mileage, reliable. With the NOS you will be in a slightly faster slow car. :p

Why is it that when someone asks about modding the car, every single time its the same list of parts.... Heres my advice, think outside of the box.

Heres what I'd do:
Upgraded suspension
Automatic transmission reprogramming, in essence, its an automatic, but works more like a manual. Theres no protection for overrevving after that, theres no protection for low gears. You put it from 2 to L and you bust something...
Full turbo prepping for the engine, meaning ditching the factory computer etc
T4/T3 hybrid turbo

N2o gets expensive after a while....
