Well I got my sparcos installed Whoa the grip is damn fine, no more holding the steering wheel... I used the OEM sliders, so the seats are quite high, I'll test it few days, if its not nice, I'll get them redone a bit lower. Pictures to follow
so to be clear.. you took the sliders off of your stock seats and attached them to the sparco's? Did you do this yourself.. or did you have it done by someone??
Yeah.. the OEM sliders were used, my pal did it in his shop, but it was based on my idea. Only thing that bothers me a bit is that the seats came like 1" higher than the OEM seats... but I'll see for the next few days if I get used to it... not much room for a helmet ;P and the position is more go-kartish.. not bad tho ;D
niiice. u bolted those onto the stock seat mounts?
i have a sparco that i'd like to put into my ae92 and i thought of bolting the seat onto the stock rails. why dont u do that instead? u dont need the mounts cos u dont need to slide...u wont be moving the seat at all onc eu find the perfect position anyways.

WRONG, I gotta move the seat, because I let my sister drive the rolla every once in a while, plus my dad is shorter than I am...
The seats ARE mounted on the stock rails, which are mounted on the stock mounts, why I did that is BECAUSE in finland if you dont bolt them into the stock positions you're gonna be so f*cked when you inspect your car. So doing it this way is gonna make life so much easier for me ;P

Well I had a choice of red too, but exactly I thought it would look too much like a honda if I put those in. Well I think I'm still doing some fine adjustments with the height, its a bit too high for me..
flashman, i'm curious as to how u put those seats in...can u tell me what u did? i dont want to buy sparco mount kit so i was thinking of a way to bolt the seat onto the stock sliders or something...
