97 Corolla CE Replacement Struts

G'day!
Pete here in New Brunswick. Normally a pickup forum user, but we also have a corolla that needs new rear struts. It is a 97 Corolla CE, stock. I was at Canadian Tire the other day and the cheapies went for around $140, and the pricy ones were $170 or so.

I always go cheap on my truck personally but since this is her car I wanted a few second opinions.

Not looking for anything but as close to stock original strut performance as possible. Are the cheapies going to last? Or do they consistently last half as long as the expensive ones.
