Need a bit of info on wheels

Would a 7.5" wide rim be suitable for an AE101? If so, what offset would they need to be? Would like to fill the fender gap, I think there is about a 1/2" of fender hanging over the rims I have (17 x 7) and would also like to step down to 16". 5zigen makes a nice set in that size, don't remember the model name, but have seen them regularly on 240's and the like.

I have a friend who has 17 x 7.5s on his ae101 GTZ, i'm not sure on the offset but he needed to roll the guards to make them fit. So it should be possible to fit a 7.5" rim in there.

I'll find out the offset next time I see him. its probably 40 ish.

Good stuff punter. Good thing I haven't gotten the body work done yet, I'll throw the fender roll in there with the rest of it.
