USA Parking Brake on 05 S

I have a 05 S and our driveway is on a incline, and every time I park there I pull the parking brake, but you have to pull it biiiiiiiiiig time, and waaaaay up there..... I was wondering I know that my rolla is out of the adjustment warranty, and before I take it to the dealer it get that fixed I was wondering what you guys thot..... does the prking brake just need to be adjusted, or is there something deeper that is going wrong with the rear brakes...

BTW my rolla has drum brakes in the back if that makes any difference..

Thanks in advance

D

I've noticed on the larger inclines with my 2005 LE that a very hard pull on the park brake is required to prohibit movement of the automobile. Adjusting the brake pads closer to the drum may help some, but as long as the brake does hold, it shouldn't be an issue.

That is the problem, the car rolls back about half a foot to a foot on a incline back or forward before it will catch it........ Id hate for the car to held by the tranny on a incline...
