short shofter

ok i searched and the answer i was looking for didnt come up. on a ae92 b&m or trd shifters are they the same for the same year mr2...? cause its the same motor. i found a few on ebay but the junkyards have a few mr2s (local) and can i take there shifters mod it to a shorter throw..?

it's only the same if the tranny, linkages, and shifter for the ae92 and mr2 are all the same...

With the TRD one if you buy new it will have to come from japan unless they brought more over in the past few months since I bought mine. They told me I bought the last one in North america, and the last guy who bought one had to wait for it to come from japan...

I have the TRD one and I like it alot! Chris had one and he liked it, his is now waiting to go into rens car :p
