HELP Driveshaft Removal, 93 Corolla - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Yes, I'm a newbie to the world of Toyotas but so far, the car has been bullet proof.. until lately when the driveshaft started knocking like a bag of golf balls in a tumble drier.

I tried to remove it this evening but no luck (the hub carrier is removed, outer end is lying on the ground). I just can't get the inner end out of the transmission and can't spot any release mechanism on the gearbox end.. any suggestions?

Ah.. I see, it's got a little spring clip on the end, tie a rope to the inner joint with the other end to your fathers Ferrari 355 and simply drive the Ferrari away! Nice one!
