Yeah, the search button is there for a reason. Besides freakinbox, you have nothing to say about that, you didnt exactly contribute anything crucial to this thread either.

First step is finding the kit that re-routes all your cooling. It will bolt in, but you won't be able to use the 6spd. Wiring is always an issue. Custom exhaust manifold etc etc. Every engine swap is going to be a bit of work.

When you answer the same questions weekly for 5 years, things tend to get stale, especially when all the information is available in detail with the search option, thats why its there. Doesnt take much brains to click on it and type "AE86 20V conversion".

Plus I gave the guy a tip.. I told him to use the search. thats more than you did

can't you buy headers for the 20v for the 86? I thought there were aftermarket ones. Wiring can be made easier buy getting a full harness rather than just a cut. ANother thing you'd have to worry about is the distributer. It's are the back of the head which causes issused when putting in a rwd application. Either do electronic ignition or cut a hole in the firewall.

No.

Might need a new gas tank as well.

The very bestest place to look for info on this swap is on club http://www.club4ag.com/ they have a nice reference section.

Best way to do the firewall mod is to hammer the firewall or cut and weld. Cut the hole and weld a plate thats shaped to fit. We did that with a pals 3S-FTE AE82

the AE86's 16V headers will fit on the 20V as the exhaust ports are the same. you'll just have to drill 2 new holes are something.
