Ignition problem on a 96 rolla

I 've had a small problem with my ignition for a good month now. When ever I would go to insert the key it would not go in all to easy. Well yesterday I went to go start my car and I couldn't get the key to turn in the ignition. I've already ordered a new ignition but would just like to know any problems I might run into swaping the old with the new. Also if anyone has ever suffered from this problem with there ingnitions???

I guess no one shares my problem, my rolla is so lonely sometimes. The problem has been fixed, if anyone whats to know how to do it just ask I guess.

Used Lock lube like Lock Ease or whatever brand is available?

I tryed wd-40 and some other lube my uncle gave me, but they didn't work.
