Drunk bastard rear ended my 89 Corolla GTS!!

After I was hit in the back, the guy ran away! The engine is perfectly fine and only the trunk and bumper were damaged.

I love the car, Corolla GTS 1989 Red 5 spd. It had 188k on it and was running like a champ!

Well anyway, I am selling parts of the car EVERYTHING.

They estimated $5000.00 in repair which is way more than what is worth.

Well, when my brother's Integra was rear ended, that was roughly the estimate to fix it as well. However, in reality, in the end it only cost him ~$2500 to do. I'll have to ask him for an exact figure later. Do you have any photos of the damage?

Can't you just get a new trunk and bumper from a local scrap yard cheap?
