Canada Changing Headlight Bulbs In a 2006 Corolla

I just replaced my headlights with HID type bulbs in my 2006 Corolla and I was wondering if there is an easier way to change the drivers side other than pulling the battery? I tried to un-bolt the headlight but something was stopping the light from coming out and I didn't want to break anything and I was wondering if there is a clip or something that needs to be removed or ???

did you take off the bumper? to take off the headlight, you have to undo another bolt that's behind the bumper (bottom of headlight). it sucks, but that's the only way to get the headlight out.

Sounds like it is easier to pull the battery..

the battery sounds much easier, one 10mm nut and you can push it aside . i did so today caus i removed the air intake tube that runs between the fender and battery

oh.. i assumed you wanted to remove the bumper too. it's around ten 8mm or 10mm bolts.

but to just replace the bulb and instal hids with ballats nearby, the battery removal is so much easier indeed.
