Who has or had this HOLE?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how many AE86 owners has or had this hole...
(driver's side shock tower, underneath the brake fluid reservoir).

I know it's fairly common, but within the next month or so, I'm going to fix it.

So, how many of u guys here have the same problem?
If so, is it fixed now? If it is, did u take it to a body shop or DIY?

one last question, If i were to do it myself, with the help of my uncle who's got a MIG welder, what type, and where would I get some quality sheetmetal?

to those that help, thanks for putting up w/ all the questions from a NOOB-DIY...
