That's it! My engine has pissed me off for the last time. First major power loss, then extra long choke (idle at 2,100 rpm for 8-15 min befor droping down to 1,200 rpm), then over heating and now a loud ticking noise when I start it. WTF! There was no ticking last time I started it.
I'm going to drop the car off to the people who made it and have them fix it. If it will cost allot to fix I'm going to have my spare dropped in and sell that engine off. Stupid 70k km 88-89 4A-GE engine. My 150k km 86-87 4A-GE out of the old car always treated me right.
Oh, and any recomendations on performance breaks? Is a TRD kit any good? My rotors are warped so I'll have to replace it all sooner or later.
Brakes? Only TRD part I have in my car is my shiftknob ;P I dont usually buy TRD because they're WAY overpriced.. but anyhow, about brakes, I'd check the following; ATE, DBA (diskbrakes australia), Brembo, Baer, Tom's, AP racing.
KVR rotors...
their pads are good shit so rotors must be too
