Throttle bodies

hey guys has anyone tried to install 20v quad throttle bodies on a 5AFE engine, and how hard is it??

Its not that hard to install them, just need to make an adapator plate to bolt them to the head.

You will need a tunable ECU to run them correctly, and its probably not worth the effort, just get a 4age.

LOL, thats like "oh shit, your distributor cap has worn out, just get a 4A-GE" bit difference in the price and its not that hard to make the tb's run. I think you could utilize the AFM from the stock engine if you were creative enough.
Otherwise just get megasquirt.

If you used the plastic plenum that is attached to the ITBs from the factory, couldn't you just mount the AFM on the end of that? Just throwing around ideas, I have no idea about ITBs. I might also be thinking of a MAF sensor, which looks like a tube with sensor mounted on the side.

I'd put money on that not running very well, probably no better than it was stock.

MAF and AFM are basically the same thing. Air flor meter, Mass airflow meter. either a flapper or a hot wire style.
