Friend got a White 95 Corolla dx

One of my good friends got his first car for his sophmore year of college(officialy his). He bought it for 800$ from his uncle with only 50k! He asked me to help him "Mod it out" b/c I mod up my GTI and plus, I want to help him get his car looking nice with small-fun mods. Here is what i'm thinking so far:

Taillights (Red/Clear design on ebay, not trashy looking and def not "altezzas")
Smoked Headlights
Clear Front bumper lights
Ebay CAI
Ebay Muffler (Thinking of a dual-tip with the exhaust tips going up, I'd assume that since the diameter is smaller of the two tips vs. 1 fart can, that it won't sound like a lawn mower)
Front Strut Bar
Tint
debadging
Bumper mesh (black)
Me painting the textured plastic trim on the lower front, rear and side of the car to make it look "beefier", and also color matching the doorstrips and MAYBE the handles if I can do it well. All this I figure to be about 500-600 MAX and He may only pick half of the things I picked out. One thing though is I'm having a hard time finding guides on bumper removal guides and taillight guides in order to instal the headlights/taillights. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this? I've taken off the bumpers of my car, but i'm not sure how much different it is on his and I don't want to risk messing up anything.
Also, there are some pretty big paint scraps on the bumpers and while i can paint small things, i'm not sure if I'm experianced enough to repaint an entire bumper. I was going to get paint from Paintscrath.com and simply "paint over" the spots, how would this come out? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated

I've always been a fan of taking an upswept exhaust and flipping it around so the tips are angled down instead. I did that on my old Cressida, and no, it sounded nothing like a lawnmower. Of course, it wasn't a cheap eBay muffler, either.

96-97 corolla lights are white and red and in my opinion look nicer than the ebay ones...

ya, decided instead to paint the amber section red on the taillights (stock) to give it a more OEM look and be cheaper.

can anyone point me to a link on how to swap out headlights?
