hahaha j/k bro. Im assuming its for his car because he posted it in the Corolla forum and the paint can says Dupont on it which is commonly used on vehicles.
Ya never know but if it was for something else, it would be in a diff forum. Plus I didnt see that blue drip on the can. Mostly hes going darker. Damnit man quit teasing us.
94_rolla, long time no see, whats the update on your car? did you get new rims yet? last time i remember you said you were gonna do something different with that car. Did you get everything fixed on it yet? its running good like before? update, update plz
everything fixed? my lips pucker from the lemony goodness just looking at it, LOL.
well heres the deal i like the car and i dont really have 7-10K for a newer one so i have decided to do a overhaulin on it and since chip and the A-team arn't around it leaves all the work up to me! right now im fixin the body (i have found way more rust than expected... i am about 75% done then im gonna freshen the paint. also i currently have my original trans in the shop getting syncro's done, in the near future i will go for the hi-comp 7afe 4a piston hybrid engine .... then i will call it done with the monster projects and do a few other things, some ideas are
-real IS300 custom garnish
-repaint grille
-custom hood (not sure yet?)
-new wheels
-sunroof (cant figure out how to get a motorized hideaway glass roof)
-intake... (ver 10, LOL)

Definately keep us posted as to what you find out with the sunroof. I've seen Prizm LSis with the sunroof from the factory, which REALLY makes me wonder if the Toyota body came with A-pillar water channels...there's a company down in SoCal that apparently did the factory Mitsu Eclipse sunroofs as an 'aftermarket, but not really' deal that might be worth looking into...also, ask the local Toyota dealer where they get their sunroofs done and investigate there. Punter's suggestion regarding imports is excellent as well. Some of the places that import Japanese engines (a phone-book search away) might be able to source other bits and pieces...or the LSI sunroof might be something that could be removed fairly intact from a junker?
If you find anything more out, please PM me. This is something I've been lusting after for a great many years and any additional information would be great.
i know the 93-97's came with one of those dumb retractable metal moonroof things.... what i want is a glass retractible roof ....
I was thinking about getting a 92-96 camry's glass roof but the issue is i need the lip out of the roof panel and the local scrapyard doesn't let you take in gas torches or any type of electric saws or cutters so i have no clue how to extract the lip from the roof panel or how to weld it in without lighting the interior up?!?!?
