93-97 adjustable shocks?

Time to replace the OEMs with something to match the lowering springs...based on my needs I'm going to be looking for something adjustable. KYB AGXs and Tokico Illuminas sprang to mind, however a quick check of the companys' application charts reveal that they don't (currently?) make those for that application.

I KNOW there's some of you running around with the AE101s with adjustable shocks, what did you use? Did those two used to make shocks? Did you have to use shocks from a different application? Help!

If you want to get technical, struts are one part of the shock absorber assembely, so really struts and shocks are one and the same...

Dunno where you can get them. I think Pedders do them?

Further research: Pedder makes them, yes, but as I'm based out of NA, that may not be of much help. =) Bilstein doesn't make them.

Koni makes them. Koni Sport or Koni Yellow, as they're sometimes called.

Bad news? They're cartridge inserts, which mean they don't replace the strut-shock assembly, they require the installers to partially dismantle the assembly, clean it, put the inserts in, and bodge the entire thing back up again. They're also ~$150 each.

Good news? They're lifetime-warrantied and fully revalvable/shortenable/adjustable/refillable (or whatever one does).

$600 is more than I'd planned on spending, but with $1,800 in mileage alone (that's after gas is paid for) coming my way, sounds like a good option for quality.
